Are Your Caregivers Insured And Bonded?
Yes. To help ensure the safety and well being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance, review driving record and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
Will I Have A Choice Of Who Comes To My Home?
Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision making process. We do our best to match the right caregiver to you and your family. However, you must be satisfied. We always try to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregivers.
Can I Change Or Discontinue The Services My Loved One Receives?
You can change the number or type of service we provide your loved one whenever it’s necessary. We understand the care situation can quickly change, so we’re as flexible as possible with your loved one’s care. Plus, you’re never bound to a contract, so you can discontinue your relationship with Absolute Homecare at your discretion.
What Payment Options Do I Have?
Our services are typically purchased privately. You can purchase 2 to 24 hours of service per day. Invoices are sent out weekly and are due upon receipt. We accept waiver payments and checks. Please note that we also work with Long Term Care Insurance companies which can be billed directly for services (authorizations must be obtained before beginning services).
How Soon Can You Start Services?
Generally we can start within 24 hours of the referral. Our case management team will arrange to make a free no cost/no obligation home assessment visit and complete your personalized plan of care.
What If I Need Help After Your Office Is Closed?
We have a scheduler, registered nurse, and administrator on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist our clients with their care needs.
How Do You Choose Your Staff?
Our staff is carefully screened prior to hire with testing, skill level assessments, reference checks, criminal background checks, DMV reporting, random drug testing and TB verification. Each caregiver is then bonded and insured through our agency.
Is There A Contract To Sign?
We have an agreement that defines payment terms and rates. You can cancel our service at any time. No deposit required. No differential rate for weekends or nights.
Do You Provide Senior Services To Those In Nursing Homes Or Assisted Living Facilities?
Yes, Absolute Caregivers provide eldercare and companionship to seniors who may require additional attention and/or personalized long term care and reside in assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Who Pays The Caregiver And How Do They Get Paid?
We simply invoice you for the services rendered and we take care of paying the caregivers, along with the legally required liability insurance, bonding, workers compensation, employer and employee taxes, benefits, and other administrative costs required for having a caregiver in your home – allowing you and your loved one to just relax and enjoy the professional caring services and companionship of our caregivers.
